Entourage - Exchange Contacts Not Syncing

Hi all,

I have Entourage working with exchange for email, calendar and public folders - all without a glitch.

My problem is that my exchange contacts are simply not downloading. I have no errors to report, the progress window states from time to time that it is processing contacts, but none appear.

I am connecting to Exchange through our corporate OWA setup. Contacts work fine using the Web Outlook interface.

Any thoughts?

Hi Gary!

Are you sure you're looking in the Contacts list under your Exchange
Account and not your local Address Book?

If you see this in just one or a handful of folders then right-click or
Control-click that folder or Contacts list, select Folder Properties and
click the Empty button to empty the cache. You can also select the
account itself and empty the cache for all of your folders.

Hi Gary!

Hi Bill,

Thanks for that. No joy. I am looking at the right account, and I cleared the cache and forced a manual sync but with the same result. Its an awful pity, everything else is spot on.

The sync appears to be spending some time processing contacts but nothing appears - I only have about 200 contacts active on exchange, I even tried updating a contact through Outlook to see if a modified record would come down after the clear cache option - no cigar!

If you stumble across anything I would be grateful if you could post it - I will do the same!
