Entourage Exchange emails coming in as folders

I am on Entourage 2008 version 12.2.4, exchange server 2003

Out of the blue my Exchange emails are coming across as new folders under
the Inbox. For example, an email with the subject ³Invoice Enhancements² is
coming across as a FOLDER titled ³Invoice Enhancements.EML². When I click
on the folder, nothing is there. My IT says that nothing has changed on the
server. I tried an uninstall and reinstall of Entourage and it didn¹t help.

Any Suggestions?

This is a known bug with no solution to fix. The only option is to create a
new Identity and let Entourage sync backup to the server. Rebuilding does
not fix it. If you have mail in folders "On My Computer" you can export them
as .rge file.
