Entourage Exchange user/password entry slow when typing

Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger)
Processor: Intel
Email Client: Exchange

When i open Entourage and am prompted for exchange user details i have to type the username and password characters very slowly as otherwise they get mixed up and i can't login.

I have this issue on all my 4 MACS. Do others have this login issue?

SPEC:
Intel and Power PC mac OSX Tiger Entourage 2008 Exchange connected.
