Greetings,

I've been using Entourage/Office8 for some time, but after upgrading to Snow Leopard last month I wind up with a new item in my trash after each boot. While it's minor nuisance, I wonder what's going wrong underneath and how to correct.

In the trash can there's a folder "Recovered files" with one file of 0KB size "MerpAD My Day".

This happened immediately after the upgrade of SL and occurs after each boot.

Anyone else? I see a number of people moaning about it on other forums, but no solutions.

Thanks.

I can't explain what's happening with My Day but if you're not being
adversely affected then I wouldn't worry about it. No application puts
its own files into "Recovered files" and then into the Trash. This is
the Finder or operating system disposing of orphaned information. I see
it right now with another application on my machine. It's a cleanup process.

To understand "why" this is happening, I suggest you ask in the Apple
forums <http://discussions.apple.com>. This isn't a My Day issue.

Hope this helps!

I'm not seeing it and I think this is the first time it's been reported
here. Since it's zero in size I wouldn't worry about it.

MERP is the Microsoft Error Report Program. Is My Day crashing?

Did you delete the older Microsoft fonts after upgrading to Snow Leopard?
