Entourage Inbox is empty

Hi, could you help me with my problem below, please ?

I have been using Entourage 2004 and 2008 for almost 4 years but it's the
first time I have this problem:
My company's mail system is running on Microsoft Exchange Server 2003.
Incoming messages are not getting into my Entourage Inbox, nor are the Rules
getting applied to move my messages to my different Inbox sub-folders.
In OWA (Safari), I can see all my messages in the Inbox. When I move any
message from the OWA Inbox to a subfolder, and then go back to Entourage, I
can then see the messages which have been moved (with OWA) into the
subfolders.
I think maybe there is some synchronizing issue here, but I don't know how
to
resolve it.

Right now I am having to do the following: In OWA (Safari), I click the
Inbox to refresh the incoming list of messages, then Move the messages to my
Inbox subfolders, then go back to Entourage, wait a while for the messages
to start showing up in my various Inbox subfolders, and then read them one
by one from the subfolders.

Thanks
Praveen

You might have a corrupted identity or a corrupted Exchange cache.
You should launch Entourage pressing the Option key down to rebuild the
identity. To be on the safe side, double-check the Rules and mailing
list manager afterwards to make sure they are sending e-mails in the
appropriate folder, (but from your description, it shouldn't be a
problem),

Thanks very much Corentin for your suggestion. Meanwhile I rummaged through
Entourage Help website for a solution, and found and tried out the simple
suggestion of emptying the cache of my Inbox (right-click the Inbox and
select "Folder Properties", and click on "Empty"). The Inbox is behaving
perfectly now!
