Entourage Install and Trial Office

Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel
Email Client: Exchange

I installed a version of Entourage that my Exchange server providers gives to its users. I then installed a trial version of Office 2008. This stopped my Entourage from working properly.

I uninstalled Entourage and Microsoft Office 2008 Trial version. I then reinstalled the Trial version (and have done so many times) - everytime I try to open Enctourage now I get an error - "Microsoft Office did not install correctly. To fix this problem you must follow specific steps to remove and then reinstall Office".

I done this over and over again.

Any suggestions?

Any suggestions?

Which trial did you download? You can install the Exchange version from your
provider with the H&S version, but it's a bit tricky. Are you planning on
buying the full Office suite?

The try & buy versions are full price.

I did the Office 2008 Trial. I am planning to buy the full version but I had thought about getting the teachers and student version since I get the Exchange Entourage for free from my Exchange provider.

Tricky? How so?

Just wondering if you had any suggestions on how to go about this installation since I tried this with the Full Office 2008 version and it didn't work.
Should I try the H & S version? I just hate to buy it and it still not work ...

If you have the full version, you don't need the one supplied by your
provider. It's just for people that don't have Office or they only have the
H&S version.

Follow the directions to update to EWS.

Hope this is clear.
