Entourage keeps on re-downloading my pastemails from our Exchange server

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) Processor: Intel Email Client: Exchange Hi,

Entourage keeps on re-downloading my past emails from our Exchange server. I connect using POP instead of Exchange, not sure if this is an issue. How do I stop entourage from re-downloading ALL my past emails from MS Exchange?
