Entourage mail

Hello!

I have a few niggling issues with Entourage on my Mac...

Firstly, suspected junk email doesn't go to the Junk Mail folder but stays in the Inbox (I have filtering set to "High")...

Secondly, "Block Sender" doesn't work as mail still arrives from senders I have blocked several times...

Thirdly, what does "Apply Junk Email Protection" do (it comes up as an option on folders when control-clicked)...

And lastly a suggestion - it would be great if email folders could be highlighted as projects, so they appeared in the project colours, making it easier to associate project emails with their correct folder.

All suggestions gratefully received!

What version of Entourage are you using?
Firstly, suspected junk email doesn't go to the Junk Mail folder but stays in
the Inbox (I have filtering set to "High")...

The Junk Mail Filter depends on you keeping an up-to-date Address Book. A
few will get by the filter but overall, I find less than 1-2 per week that
wind up in my Inbox.

I do suggest adding this rule, Junk Mail where "From is Me". Place this rule
at the bottom of your rule list.

Secondly, "Block Sender" doesn't work as mail still arrives from senders I
have blocked several times...

Maybe this is an Exchange feature. I'm not aware of a built in function for
blocking senders other than setting a rule. I would use this rule:

From is in category "block" (you will need to create category block)

Move message to Junk folder
Set category Block

This way you can check mail before deleting.

When you receive a message from someone you want to block, add them to your
Address Book with category "block".
Thirdly, what does "Apply Junk Email Protection" do (it comes up as an option
on folders when control-clicked)...

A search in Office Help doesn't give an answer and I'm not sure myself what
it does. I'll try to find out.
And lastly a suggestion - it would be great if email folders could be
highlighted as projects, so they appeared in the project colours, making it
easier to associate project emails with their correct folder.

You can control click on a folder and apply a category to the folder. It
will be colored the category color.
