Entourage offline - can't see folders

I

Iain Brewster

Hi,

I am using Entourage with IMAP folders and I would like to be able to view
all the folders under the root (INBOX) when I am offline.

Online everything works fine - no issues.

I tried clicking 'Work Offline' and the folders initially remain visible.
However, after closing and then reopening, Entourage opens in 'Offline'
mode, but I can only see the INBOX and its contents. The sub folders (i.e.
With all my filed mail) are no longer visible.

What am I doing wrong? Please help. This has to be simple. I really need to
able to view the contents of these folders offline and I am sure this must
be possible, even with IMAP folders. I am using a 2 GHz Duo MacBook with
Tiger 10.4.10 and
Entourage version 11.3.6

Check the options for your IMAP account and make sure bodies are
completely downloaded every time (I'm not sure whether or not
attachments have to be downloaded as well, but I don't think so),

Hi,

Thanks. My IMAP settings were fine. I had to left click and force the
download for each folder separately. Just doing this for the root (INBOX)
did not download all folders. There is also no obvious way of telling
whether you have downloaded all messages or not which resulted in me doing
this a few times for each folder. But... it's working now.

Weird.... Well in any case I'm glad it works now (but I don't understand
then why they were not downloaded in the first place),
