Entourage sending web links that are not clickable

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) Processor: Intel Email Client: pop Have a user that when she sends an email with a link in it (example- http://www.apple.com) the recipient sees the link as not a full web address. It may see the http:/ in blue to be clickable but the rest is not. If I send the email as plain test it will work. I have tried reinstalling, reset of preferences. Nothing worked. This is with a fully updated Entourage 2008 for mac.

Enclose the URL in brackets like this

I have tried using the < and > on the link. It still does it. Seems to be something in how it is sending HTML emails. Thanks

Entourage doesn't send a live link - it just sends the text. It is up
to the receiving client to interpret the address as a valid email
address.

If the link is only partly live, it indicates that the tex is not
correctly formatted as a link - there is a space in there, or an
invalid character. can you supply an example of a link that is not
working?

Like most MVPs, I am responding to your query through the public
newsgroup channel (NNTP). Microsoft is planning to close the public
newsgroups which would effectively disable this channel and may affect
the number of answers that are given. Please post any concerns you have
about these plans in this newsgroup so we can forward them on to
Microsoft.

How do I set Entourage to be the default program for "Send Link" when using Firefox instead of Mail opening when I select "Send Link"?
Thanks.

In Entourage 2008 it’s in Preferences > General.
