Entourage Sync to palm for mac not working

I'm using osx 10.3.7 and entourage 2004. All my updates are downloaded
and installed. Handheld sync installer stats that you should use palm
desktop 4.0 however with my current version of osx it will not hotsync.
So, I've installed desktop 4.1 and I can hotsync. The problem is that
when I open up conduit manager I can not click on Entourage Conduit so
I can set it up?? The wild thing is that my palm says that I'm syncing
OK? But my entourage is not transfering contact info or calender info.
I've tried unistall and disabling the conduits.

Can anyone help me?
I've always had fun when using the current version of mac and palm.

If you look on the CD that came with Office/Entourage, there is an
extras folder. If you did a full install it will also be in Office
folder on your hard drive. If you look in there, you'll find a newer
version of the Entourage conduit Installer. Install that, and you
should have full functionality. It's odd, because if you download the
one of the Microsoft web site, it doesn't work, but the one on the 2004
CD does.

I had the same problem after upgrading from office x to office 2004.
If you go to your documents folder...then to microsoft user data folder, see
if you still have an office x folder in there...
If so, remove it. Then your syncing should work like a charm. Good luck!
