Entourage time zone madness

S

Steve Basile

I'm using Entourage 2004 11.3.2 on a MacBook Pro with OS X 10.4.8.

Where on earth (literally) is Entourage getting its time zone settings?

I have Entourage and OS X set to the Central time zone. At one point a new
calendar appt said I was in Casablanca. Now it's saying I'm set to The
Azores. Hello?

You can imagine how frustrated I am with my appts time shifting all over the
place.

Is there a fix for this?

Thanks in advance for your help.

I *suspect* that this was fixed in the recent 11.3.3 update.

Are you synchronizing with any other devices or endpoints, using iSync, Sync
Services, or other sync software? Just curious.

Corentin,

I ran the update last night and it fixed the problem on new appts. Thanks
for the tip.

Old appts still display incorrectly. I will create replacements for each of
those.

Note that you can change the time zone of an event by clicking the "Options"
button on the event toolbar, and then opening the "Time Zone" menu to select
the time zone you want. You can find the same menu under the "Event" menu
on the menu bar on top.
