Entourage - Unmark option disappeared

I've always been able to mark a message, "Unread", but for some reason today
when I got home from work and I'm trying to do it, the option no longer
appears on the [option][click] window and the, "Mark as read", "Mark as
unread" and "Mark all as read" are greyed out. I've been trying all kinds
for things, but no luck

You may want to also post this in the Office:Mac Entourage newsgroup as well (link below) and include details on the version you are
using and some of the 'all kinds of things' you've tried.
