Entourage With Exchange Sync Issues

Hello:

I have a user with a 4 GB mailbox. The user has an issue where he'll
move items from his sent items folder to other mail folders within his
mailbox. Then a short time later, the items will re-appear back in
sent items. The moved items remain in the folders they were moved.

The user uses entourage at work and at home. Both are configured to
connect using SSL webdav (OWA). Tjhe user also uses Outlook 2007 in a
VM. Outlook is configured to connect to exchange with cached mode
off.

I use a practically identical set up except for a significantly
smaller (about 40 MB) mailbox and have been unable to replicate this
behavior. However, I did receive a report (which I've not verified)
of another user in our enviroment with a similarly massive mail box
have identical issues.

Anyone have and ideas on a fix for this?

Thank you.

Corentin:

2008 with all updates.

Is it with an Exchange account?? Something might be going wrong during
the sync. It could also be that there is a corruption in the database
and that you need to rebuild the identity (Press the Option key down as
you launch Entourage).

Corentin:

yes the account is on exchange. We've rebuilt the database more than
once.

For an Exchange account, you could consider completely removing it from
the list of accounts, rebuild the identity (which will compact it after
deleting the exchange account) then re-add it to let it reimport all the
data.
I had some troubles here with a couple of accounts and that's the only
way I managed to get rid of the issue,
