Entourage with Exchange update

Just kind of curious but is Entourage going to always be a IMAP client? Or
are there plans to make it more like Outlook 2001-ish. I hope so.... Thanks
for the info.

There will be changes in future versions (with regard to protocols) but
nothing specific at this time.

so the only way(s) for Entourage to access mail on an Exchange server is
either via POP or IMAP?

Hi Chris,

With the current version (10.1.4) IMAP or POP for incoming and SMTP for
outgoing.

This may change for Office 2004.
