Entrances on Custom Animation change to Appear

Powerpoint 2003 Windows XP

The Entrances on my Custom Animation continually change to Appear. It
appears to be random and doesn't occur on all slides. There is only one Slide
Master and it has no custom Animation.

Stick to specific custom animation scheme. Don't use random effects
then.
