envelope problem

Hi

I have app 50 innstalations of office 2003 with outlook...and there is some
problem
with the envelope in the down right corner not appearing.

After a while it stops appearing when my users get new mail., we get the
small message thats fades away but not the envelope.

This prob is on w2k and wxp machines. strange.. a reinnstall of office
does not correct the problem

Anyone know a reason or a fix for this??

Check Tools | Options | Advanced E-mail Options and see if the show envelope
in notification area option is still checked.

i cant find the hide envelope check box...
this is outlook 2003 pro.
i have checked: tools-options-then i have no advanced email options..
if i go to the other tab ihave a advanced options. but no show envelope
in notification area is shown under ther..

can u give me a spesific path? plz..
