Envelopes print address to far left and no return address

I used to be able to print envelopes using Word 2007 feature Envelopes, but
now I keep getting envelopes that have the mailing address to the far left
and no return address. Everything looks normal on the preview pane in the
Envelopes window, but it does not print out correctly. Can anyone help me
resolve this problem?

It would appear that the envelope is not being fed into the printer in the
location that the printer thinks it is.

I ran a test to check the driver on my HP1020 and everything was fine. The
printer takes the envelope like normal in the manual feed slot but continues
to print everything on the far left with no return address.

What style is applied to the envelope adress? It should be Envelope Address.
When merging or using a template it is all to easy to insert the address
other than in the frame associated with the Envelope Address style.

There is no 'style' applied as I simply highlight the address in the Word
document and then click envelopes and the window that opens shows the address
in the frame with my return address. When I click to print, it sends the
envelope through but prints the main address to the far left and no return
address. I have never had this problem before and have always been able to
print envelopes without a problem. I also located these replies by going to
google since I could not see them or access them on the microsoft.com website

By default, the address used in the dialog is Envelope Address for the
destination address and Envelope Return for the return address. The Envelope
Address style includes a frame; if this frame has been modified, or if the
indent of the paragraph inside the frame has been modified, the positioning
would be affected.

Are you sure you have the correct envelope size and orientation selected?

The frame was never modified -- unless that occurred during an update that
was downloaded automatically -- and even if I type the address in the frame
in the envelope frame, I still get the address printed to the far left and no
return address.

In that case I suggest you try printing on a sheet of plain paper to
determine where the printer is expecting the envelope to be. If it is not
possible to feed the envelope in that position, and if Word doesn't offer a
feed options setting that produces print in the place where the envelope
does feed, you may be reduced to creating an envelope template based on a
full sheet, with appropriate margins.
