envelopes

Hi All: In "word" I choose Mailings>Envelopes . Everytime I enter
"recipiants" name or adressee's name,and click O.K., I get an error message.
"MICROSOFT OFFICE WORD HAS STOPPED WORKING" "MICROSOFT OFFICE WORD IS TRYING
TO RECOVER YOUR INFORMATION". Does anyone have aclue as to what is causing
this? Thanks much
