EPILOGUE

Burger23

Just thought I would thank you again, Thomas, for your
time. I decided to use the "opportunity" that this
problem presented to reformat my harddrive- and do
complete a long-overdue clean install. While a pain-in-
the-butt (like trying to find where you saved that WinZip
activation code!), a clean install always is good. And it
did solve my local publish issue. I just used
http://localhost after the clean install, and it worked
fine.

Go figure...... Thanks again.

Onward...

If you're ever faced with a similar situation again, you might want to try
the utility named RegSeeker, available for free from here:
http://www.hoverdesk.net/freeware.htm

Run it after an uninstall, and it will clean up the registry leftovers which
sometimes cause problems to be carried over during a program repair or
reinstall.

I also run it about once a week to clean up the "junk"
