EPM Borwser problem "You do not have permissions to view this page"

Sorry for the lengthy introduction to my problem, but the background info
sets up the issue

Ok, My Company is currently evaluating the project server package. I
originally setup a project server test environment with a few test users,
about 5 of them. I didn't configure Enterprise features. About a couple of
weeks into the evaluation, the eval team decided they would like to take
advantage of the enterprise features. No problem, I could of just selected
that feature and installed all of the required components (yet very painful)
But what I did do was decommission that test box and do a completely new
install with all the enterprise features enabled on the pre production
hardware. No Problem there.

I then synchronized a security group in Active Directory with all of the
users that will be using the product in production, including the 5
originals. Now here comes my problem. When I try to select the Outlook
Plug-in for those 5 users I get a very canned error message: "You do not
have permissions to view this page". When I try to install with the other
users in that AD security group, it installs without a hitch. Ok, I just
d-load the active-X control manually and installed it on the client's
machine. Installs just fine, when the user tries to use the plug-in, it
invokes a browser with the same error message "You do not have permissions
to view this page". The next caveat it I have the user create a new profile
on a test machine and the user still gets the same results.

I cleared the AD GUID within the Admin page but with no avail. If anybody
has anything else to contribute, please advise. I thank all who took the
time to read through my post. Thank you and have a good day.

-Jeff
