EPM Portfolio question

I register one proposal(Project), i inlcude the start date for it (jan2008),
and in the cost tab I registered some costs for jan-jun 2008, but later on I
changed the started date to feb/2008, and I updated the info.. the I
revisited the cost tabs and it starts fronm feb/2008, but all inforamtion
entered in jan/2008 is lost!!!,, it is possible to move the costs to the
start date in the INFO TAB? or I need to reeenter ALL information in the COST
tab for the new lenght of the project?
