MSPS 2007 - Question Regarding Resource Usage View to Current Date

T

Tim Mccoy

I created a plan on the server that has all our resources in it and no tasks.
In the plan I have a custom Resource Usage view I created with some Group
By's to help see resource availability.

I created the plan and view in Feb of 2008 and the view always opens to Feb
2008. I've tried saving the plan while viewing the Nov 2008 information,
changing the dates in the Project Information (both in the plan and the
Enterprise Resource Pool) to November dates, adding a start milestone in the
plan Gantt, using the adjust dates button on the analyze toolbar, and nothing
seems to work.

Can somebody advise on a solution? I don't want to re-create the plan every
month just so it can open to the current date.

Thank you!

Add a macro which runs when you open the plan and which displays
information pertaining to the current date.
