EPM2003 outline code - large resource pool

Hi,
We have a large resource pool (>3000), since a couple of days our filtering
on an enterprise resource outline code does no longer work in the Building
the resource team. The filter is still there, the outline code values shows
up, you can select one, however it is not saved in the value box.
Typing manually a valid value in the value box is also ignored.
We are running Project Server 2003 SP2a.
Any body who has seen these symptoms?

Hi,

an update on this issue.
It is no longer only related to the Enterprise Resource outline code but
also Enterprise Task outline codes are affected.
We' ve found the cause. We have currently about 34000 values in total in our
outline codes. Appareantly this is too much for MS Project Professional.
On our test EPM server we've restored the production EGT and eliminated 1000
outline code values from 1 outline code which even did not had the symptoms
and the problem was solved.
A workaround is eliminate values from out line codes, the final solution is
reporting this as a bug/limitation of Project Professional 2003 to see that
Microsoft is willing to build a hotfix for it.

These are assumptions, things I see.
