Hi,
I'm using MS Office XP Std. When I first installed
Office XP, I included Equation Editor in the options and
it worked fine. For some reason, sometime later when I
try to open Eqn Editor by Insert-Object, it fails to
start and gives me the screen that says "MS Eqn Editor
has encountered a problem and needs to close.", also
asking you to send an error report. It asks to
automatically repair it and that didn't work.
I also tried:
-installing office SP1 and SP2 and all other patches
-removing the Equation Editor option, then reinstalling
that option
-removing the whole office and reinstalling it
Obviously it still didn't work. The same happened to me
last time before I formatted my harddrive, and it seems
to be happening to some of my friends too.
Thanks for your help in advance.
Regards,
Sherman
