equation editor with symbol

Hi, I encounter similar problem. My minus "-" sign is missing and was
replaced by arrows. I cannot change L.C. Greek, U.C. Greek and Symbol to
Symbol, I only have Symbol PS and SI Symbol in my droplist. Please help.

Then you will need to reinstall the Symbol font.
