I have Office 2003 running. I am using Equation Editor 3.0. But I cannot see
the equations except in Reading Layout view. Some graphics copied from Web
also has same problems. In other views I can see the place holders.

I installed Course Genie 2 months back an removed the trial ended. At that
time some macros I enabled. I don't know the problem started after this.

I can insert symbols and see in all views

"Picture placeholders" is checked. To correct this, in Word, click
Tools > Options. In the View tab, the top section is titled "Show". In
the middle column of "Show" is an item called "Picture placeholders".
Uncheck this, and click OK.
