equations in forms

Do you know how to allow the inputting of equations into a text field in a form?

I want another user to enter the answer to a question on the form as an equation. Is this possible?

It is not possible using the Equation Editor. Therefore you should not
expect them to insert anything more complicated than what they can enter
using the keyboard. That means that they would be limited to using +-/*()
and if they know them, the insertion of symbols via the keyboard or Alt +
numeric keypad shortcuts.
