Hi

I have 1000s of emails on my gmail but I'd rather Entourage didn't download them all onto my computer. Is there any way I can specify from which date I want it to download messages? I find that even if I delete the older messages from Entourage, the next time I switch on my computer...the old ones are back!! thats emails all the way from 2004!!!! thats such a waste of space adn absolute clutter!! It feels like AppleMail had recitified some of the problems i am now having with Entourage :(

Help!

Using Entourage may actually be the faster way to do this.

Allow time for Entourage to sync your messages and then delete them in
groups of about 200-300. Be sure to empty your Deleted Items folder and
allow Entourage to sync this information back to your Gmail account online.

If this works well then consider increasing the number of messages
you're deleting at one time.

Hope this helps!

First, click on your IMAP account header in the folder list on the left.
This will display your folders on the right. You can then right-click or
Control-click a folder in that list and select Unsubscribe. This works
for IMAP accounts only.

Hope this helps!
