I am drawing a table in a document, using th mouse (pencil). I am using the eraser to erase some of the lines. It is not erasing them... it is just turning the line to grey instead of black. Can someone help me?

Hi Denise -

You're actually dealing with 2 separate items :)

What you're erasing are Borders which not only display on screen but also
print. IOW, they are a formatting attribute applied to the other item...

The gray lines that remain are *gridlines* that serve to identify where the
cell walls are while working with the document & only show on screen - they
don't print. If you don't want the gridlines to display go to the Table menu
& select Gridlines to remove the check.
