erratic cursor

my cursor is driving me nuts. it moves without a prompt from me and
initiates things without clicking. can anybody help?

Assuming you're talking about working with Access, the database product
that's part of Office Professional, do you have a timer set on your form?

If you're not working with Access, I'd suggest reposting to a newsgroup
related to whatever operating system you're using.
