erratic personal folders and rules

I have WinXP and Outlook 2002. I have the following sets of folders:

- Archive Folders
- Personal Folders
- Hotmail
- Exchange

I have my POP mail account and Exchange account both delivering to the
Exchange Inbox and then configured for some client-only rules that move mail
to various Personal Folders.

The Personal Folders are located on a mapped network drive called H:

I have had intermittent trouble with some of the rules. Basically,
sometimes they work and other times they can't seem to access their folders
and don't go.

Now I can't seem to open it at all, although I have no problem getting into
H: via my drive mapping in Windows Explorer.

Please help.

Can you open them locally? Is there a limit on your H:\-drive?

Saving pst-files on a networkshare is not recommended by Microsoft. I don't
have had real problems with it. Mapping to it by using a UNC
(\\servername\sharename\file.pst) works better for me than using a mapped
drive.

Roady,

Thank you for your response.

I have since moved it to a local drive location, and nothing has changed....
