Error 0x80042109 Outlook 2007 will no longer send e-mail

I have been sending e-mail just fine for some time now, but just started
receiving error message 0x80042109 when I try to send e-mail. I have three
different e-mail accounts in Outlook.

Fixes I have found on the internet that have not worked:

- I have uninstalled AVG and rebooted. No virus software is currently running
- I have tried changing the outgoing SMTP server from 25 to 587 and 2525.
The change to 587 worked for Yahoo, but not the other two.
- I have verified all the account settings

There is another person here who is able to send from the same two accounts
using the same settings and we are using the same ISP.

In the past 3 days e-mail has been able to send about once a day. Not sure
how, but it does.

you mentioned you have three accounts... which one is failing? setting for
each account are different, if different providers so check the failing
account on settings. you said also you changed smtp ports, but this is
related the email provider not your pick. consult the email provider settings.

All three accounts are failing to send. I have the authentication and all
other settings accurate. Since we have someone else in the office using
Outlook with all three of the same domains I am able to verify that.

I have been sending e-mail fine through Outlook 2007 since we got it - this
just started a few days ago.
