error 1305 when install microsoft office 2000

I am trying to install office 2000 onto Windows XP. When Installing and
error messages appears saying Error 1305.Error reading from file:
E:\PFiles\MSOffice\Office\bitmaps\Dbwiz\ASSETS.GIF.Verify that the file
exists and that you can access it.
Need help.
