Cannot install WORD, continually get above message.

Have you tried using the Office Clean Up Wizard on the Office CD-ROM? Try
that then, install Office. It should remove any crud left over by a previous
version of Office or bad installation, just CD-ROM for the utility, its
little pie with the Office Icon on it.
