Error 1411

After opening an AutoCad LT 97 drawing, and then applying
an Ungroup command, I receive:

An error [1411] occured during action Ungroup. There was
an error reading or writing OLE data.

Is this a normal situation? Can you "ungroup" imported
Autocad files?

Do you know of a Microsoft site that explains thede errors
a little more clearly?
