I just purchased a new Dell and trying to load Office XP Professional v2002 and it says, "failed to locate valid qualifying product on your computer".

This is very frustrating. I just pulled product out of the box to install and can not use. This was a product that was recommended from store..

Well take it back because it is an upgrade and not a full program. The clue
is in the error message

"failed to locate valid qualifying product on your computer"
