I created a small application for some users in my
office. What I've noticed is that most people cannot run
access by using shortcuts on their desktops. They have to
navigate to the file and open it directly. It then
prompts them to begin to install access. If you hit
cancel 3 times, everything will load find. If not, you
get Error 1706 (installation error). If I add the
line "C:\Program Files\Microsoft
Office\Office\MSACCESS.EXE" to the shortuct's target line,
users can then use the shortucts, but they still get the
installation message. Any ideas on what is going on?
