Error -17099

Out of the blue I have begun receiving this error when attempting to send.

The top section of the error description box says:

Error
4.7.1 <[email protected]> ...Auto blocked due to excessive mail.

Explanation
Mail could not be send.
Account name: "My name"

Error: -17099

* I spoke to my ISP and cleared my webmail inbox, trash, etc (nothing there
to speak of).
* Rebuilt the database and shrunk it to below the 4 gig level (which in the
past has seemed to cause all sorts of issues ­ so crossed that one off).
* Am receiving emails fine ­ both on Entourage and webmail
* Can send on webmail fine.

I am now at a bit of a loss ­ has been working well all day, just went to
send two emails and the thing said ³no²!

Any suggestions on a resolution gratefully received.

This is the info we have on Error -17099

Relaying to <the email address> prohibited by administrator Email could not
be sent Account name (my account name) Error -17099

Error -17099 is an Entourage error kSMTPServerReplyErr, and is returned when
the SMTP server has returned a permanent or transient error or returns an
unexpected result code.

This error is coming from your ISP.

Users have reported this error when sending to large groups. ISPs limit the
number in a group. Usual number is 50 recipients to avoid spammer misuse.
Entourage has no limit. You should contact your mail provider to ascertain
the maximum number of recipients per message and note it. You can use the
free "Split Recipients" script to send a mass e-mail in separate mailings
automatically:

Most ISPs also require you to use their SMTP address when sending. (are you
trying to use a relay SMTP?)
