error 1933 Office 2000 on XP

I keep getting the message 'Windows File Protection:
Insert your Windows XP service pack 1 CD now' and 'Error
1933. The Windows Installer Service Cannot Update 1 or
more files...'. I've tried copy dll files from 40/bin as
suggested in microsoft support but it hasnt worked. any
ideas anyone? Thanks in advance.
