Error 3000:

P

Paul Fenton

We're getting this error in one of our applications. Front end, back
end, multiple users and it started when one of the workstations
crashed while she was viewing customer records. It happens when we
try to open a certain form to view records.

"Error 3000: Reserved error (-1517); There is no message for this
error"

What is it? What causes it? What do we do to eliminate it?

Paul,

Ha! That one made me scratch my head, too!

What MS is trying to say, in its coy little way, is to delete and
relink all your linked tables.

At least, that's what has worked for me. There could be other errors
with no message attached to them.
