Error 8 message? What does it mean?

My works keeps generating an error 8 message and I can't open my calendar?
I desperately need the information in there and need to repair the fault...
What can i do? Also, how can I back up all the stuff I have in Projects,
Calendar etc for future safety?

Works is not Office and I would venture a guess that most people here aren't
using Works. Try posting your question in a Works newsgroup.

Try a post to the microsoft.public.works.win newsgroup and give your version
of Works.
This is an Office ng - completely different to Works
