Error 8961 when linking/importing a dbf

I get this error, "Unexpected error from external database driver (8961)",
when linking/importing a dBase IV dbf. I can open the dbf in excel and other
programs but not Access 2003. I have tried linking the same dbf from lower
versions of Access but get the same error. The dbf file name is only 4
characters and I am able to succesfully link other dbf's. The only thing
different about this dbf is that it was created from a postgres database. I
appreciate any help anyone can give.

I'm also getting the same error to few tables only. Actually there are 20 tables, i can only extract few but the rest of it, is not possible. Please help me.
