I developed inside of Access 2000 usually in my C:\ drive
until my apps is ready for publishing. My reference
libraries are VB for Apps, MS Access9.0 Obj, MS DAO 3.6
OBJ, Ole auto & MS VB for Apps ext 5.3 in that order. The
file pointer path is setup to the C drive.
After I move the developed app to the network drive, I
reset the path to the network drive but I continue to
develop/enhance the application in the C drive.
My problems start when I create or modify and object in
the C drive and try to upload to the network drive via the
import command. More times than not, I get the
error "Error Accessing File. Network connection may be
lost" when I try to open the code window in the network.
What I should be doing that I am not doing now. I also
need to migrate to a SQL Server using project as the
interface.
Your help or comments are welcome.
