I just got a new computer with Office 2007 Home & Student as well as Adobe
Reader 9.0. When trying to open an office Word document, I keep getting two
errors: 1. Command cannot be performed because a diablog box is open...; and
2) Micorsoft Office Word has detected taht your computer has a version of
Adobe Acrobat PDF maker that is known to cause instabilities in Word 2007
(pre-release). To resolve this issue, download an update from Adobe System's
Website.
The Adobe PDF Maker Error Message I found related to Office 2003 and
referenced Adobe Acrobat 5.0 and earlier! I can eventually open the
documents and save them again, but keep getting these error messages prior to
being allowed to open the files. Can anyone shed some light on this problem
for me? Thanks!
