"Error! Bookmark not defined." and "print"

[Printing adds Error! Bookmark not define]

I have a 194 page doc. When I try to print, some magician adds "Error!
Bookmark not defined." all over the place. I know I have had to delete XE
tags many times in order to update the index to a new concordance file. That
has left me a ton of tags that are missing the XE part of the tag. I have
not found any help to remove these things that are {blah blah ... }

Since I have to remove 1735 of these "Error! Bookmark not defined." with
control H then I assume I have 1,735 orphaned tags.

I cannot find a way for the print to not update the index whicch is 2
columns over 4 pages.

Help please.

Instead of just deleting the XE part, you should have deleted the entire
field. Too late for that now, so you can either lock (Ctrl+F11) or unlink
(Ctrl+Shift+F9) the index.
