Error Box "ENTER NETWORK PASSWORD"

O

Ozark Mama

I keep getting this error message. My Network Password as not changed. It
is on file correctly. I cannot get rid of this error message. It stops all
use of my computer whenever it appears. Deleting it does no good. How do I
get rid of the error notice that is in error and screwing up my computer
usage???

I am having exactley the same problem. My e-mail doesn't come & go unless I
type my password in every 5 minutes. THis just started a few weeks ago. my
ISP cannot find a reason for the probelm. What's up?

Okay. I see where someone else is having a similar problem. Surely there is
someone out there who can tell us how to stop this message from popping up
every few seconds. I have lost use of Outlook completely. HELP!! We need
to stop the "monster who eats network passwords".

No, what you need to do is post your Outlook version and Operating System.

Sorry to sound stupid, but what do you mean by "post your Outlook version and
Operating System? I don't understand.
I do like the line about my furious head scratching. This is really
frustrating.

TO THOSE OF YOU HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM. I WISH I COULD GIVE YOU A SOLUTION.
I KEPT TURNING MY COMPUTER OFF AND LETTING IT SIT, THEN TURNING IT BACK ON.
THE LAST TIME I RE-BOOTED EVERYTHING WAS BACK TO NORMAL. THE PESKY NOTICE
THAT KEPT DEMANDING I ENTER MY NETWORK PASSWORD HAD RETREATED TO WHEREVER. I
HOPE NEVER TO BE SEEN AGAIN.

Outlook 2007.

This seems to be a continuing problem. I have my Premium Yahoo which
works fine. I used to have another pop3 account that also worked
fine. When I added a third, the second one went crazy asking for the
password like the complaints below. I've deleted my profile and all
my accounts. Gone to Outlooks self repair which didn't work. I'm
about to remove and reinstall Outlook. This is the second time it has
happened to me.

Thanks,

You have Microsoft Office Outlook, what version is it (Hint: you'll find
this information in 'Help|About Microsoft Office Outlook'). We assume you
have Microsoft Windows for your Operating System, what version is it (95,
98, ME, 2000, XP, Vista)?

Ok guys: I have WIndows XP Pro and Outlook 2007, however, the probelm began
suddenly a few weeks ago with outlook 2003. I uninstalled all office programs
and reinstalled 2007. No change same - network password error. I have
installed and re-installed 2007, and have deleted all profiles and started
from scratch 3-4 times. I cannot get away from the error. Again, my ISP says
it's not on their end, and they have no idea...
Still needing help....

And I forgot to add, I have completely uninstalled my anti-virus software and
it didn't help, also turned off e-mail scanning, etc. No luck.
Thanks for any suggestions
