Error! Can't update to this computer! I have Works Suite 2002

Hello! In the past I've had no problem with "check for
Updates for Office" - But now it seems like my computer is
not being detected. Is this because the allowed update
period is finished? I recently had to do a Restore on this
computer. And I have tried to remove the programs to try
to reinstall the programs again, but am unable to remove
Word. I am the owner of the package. I get messages saying
unable to access patch; please provide certain files: So,
what would I need to do to completely remove this Suite-so
I can try to install again? Thanks ever so much from one
frustrated human being.....
