Error Code 0x80070057

I can receive e-mail but all sent/replies remain unsent
in my outbox.

I have DSL at office, dial-up in hotel on the road.

I talked to 6 people at Comcast, 3 people at Microsoft, 2
people at Dell...

Anyone??
