The Immediate Window returns it this way.

was going to copy the error message but i'm reinstalling Office, error code
came into play when i was trying to create a wif file. stated that ' make
sure file path/name is correct(did that), dick full or write
protected(checked that), or admin is allowing me to make file(logged in as
admin). then another error pops up stating that it's can't find system.mdw..
search of computer doesn't produce file and the wizard that is posted in
other discussions doesnt exist... i'm realy scratching my head on this one...
thinking it goes back to that file.. read that it is installed but when? on
the install of windows or office? adn if so is there something i'm doing on
the install that is not allowing this file to be produced..

Ok, so the error isn't an Access error, it is a Setup error. As you can see,
you didn't give enough information to begin with.
The first thing I would do would be to look for fingerprints or other
obscuring items on the CD. Take a soft, lint free cloth and try cleaning the
CD. If that doesn't help, try copying the CD to a folder on your hard drive
and install from there. If you are still having problems, please post in the
microsoft.public.office.setup newsgroup. They should be more familiar with
setup errors than I am.
